WELCOME - ABOUT ME
My name is Erica Gutiérrez and this is my personal website. Thanks for stopping by! I'm currently based out of the City of Beverly Hills, and working in the City of Santa Monica. I work for a large green affordable housing nonprofit, CCSM, that specializes in all facets of energy efficient affordable housing development, leasing and management. As the assistant to the Director of Property Management, I deal with all aspects of p.m. including maintenance, energy retrofits, leasing, fair housing, legal and tax issues, commercial lease negotiations, and tenant/resident relations. I'm also involved in grant writing, project coordination, and in the ongoing development of more sophisticated methods for energy, financial and asset analysis. Before this, I was based out of Barcelona, Spain. There, I conducted research for my thesis on the L'Eixample, the city's 19th century extension and its connection to the Garden Cities movement. This was the final part of my graduate studies in City & Regional Planning at Cornell University. I also gave walking tours on the city's architectural and planning history.
