Erica Gutierrez is a Los Angeles-based Urban Planner & Real Estate Broker. Her current planning focus is community development and land use law throughout Los Angeles County. Her focus in real estate as a licensed California Real Estate Broker (BRE License #: 01943781) is on residential sales. She holds several advanced degrees from Cornell University, the Unviversity of Freiburg, Germany, and UCLA, including a Masters in City in Regional Planning (MRP).
Erica enjoys cooking, eating out, wine tasting, sewing, and working out. She also likes to write, and does so regularly at L.A. Unveiled, a blog on culture and lifestyle in Los Angeles. (More writing samples here.) Erica has also traveled extensively, and lived, studied and worked in several countries including the U.S., Mexico, Spain, France, Germany, South Africa, India and Japan. She has visited about 33 countries in all.
Over the years, Erica has volunteered and interned at countless organizations incluing USAID, PEPY, Habitat for Humanity, Housing Assistance Corporation-Cape Cod, the City of Los Angeles, and Planetizen. Erica has always been active in student government. She is member of the Los Angeles Conservancy, volunteering on their Modern Committee, and leading their 'Modern Skyline' tour on weekends.
